Well I thought I will drop some little ideas on landing RC Planes. Got my Edge 540 redbull to do that first, later will do another video for EDF jets cuz thats where I ...
I am denied to leave the German NAZI state since 1988.I had been tortured
several times in other countries by the BND which is the renamed GESTAPO
to force me back.My personal experience makes me believe that almost every
German living abroad is a German snitcher. How comes that today many people
around the world are accepting that Germany is infiltrating their society
to gain control? See my channel and homepage for brainwashing
technologies.Examples in my 3 films about Michel,Meinhoff,Raspe.
@gcdesroches Wow, if you really have 20 years of RC behind you, then why do
your radio settings dictate how smoothe your landings are. You kind of
sound like one of the 90% you were talking about. Now I'm no Pro Sponsored
Pilot here, but I'll tell you right now that my 10 years of flying .60+
planes (only the last 4 years with a computer radio) and my landings are as
smoothe on my 31% Extra as they are on my .60 Yak Beater plane (Futaba
Skysport analog). Precision flying is 90% Pilot, 10% setup.
@death2tuners Settings don't matter to me. Most of my flying was done on an
old Futaba black box. Not even legal anymore. Now a days though nearly all
radios have dual rates. I seldom bother with them but if you have them and
you need them use them. You guys have blown my comment so far beyond a
simple observation that I was not impressed with a landing that looked like
a choppy day at sea that I wonder if you have lives of your own? I didn't
say he couldn't fly. He just needed a better example.
Do you know who Lukas Riva is? One of the best RC helicopter pilots in the
world. He holds his TX using only his thumbs. He could fly circles around
me, you, and alishanmao simultaneously. Incidentally, he also flys with his
throttle/pitch control completely REVERSED. Copy and paste "lukas riva
vidéo avec vue sur la radio" into the youtube search box and you will find
an incredible video of his flying skills along with a clear view of his
stick movements. Sit down, hush up, watch, and learn...
@gcdesroches Dude, I don't know if you have another video but your two
Real-flight landing videos on your channel suck. Land a mustang on the
mains straight and level, unless your a WWII Ace showing off to his squad,
don't try to make a 3 wheel landing. Besides, since we cannot tell exactly
the speed of rc planes, it is difficult to land with a high angle of
attack, your video in the sim is showing a UNREALISTICALLY stable plane.
Try that with a scale (TF P-51GS) and see if it goes home intact.
Honestly I just don't get it. All the animosity and hate that people post
just baffles me. I cant say that I'm a huge fan of the OP's vids, just
because he reviews certain products that im not interested in. But i dont
understand the need to bash, insult, and degrade him while he posts a vid
that helps explain to noobs how to land. Granted the size of the plane is a
little large to use as an example, (that damn thing is huge!), but let the
man do his thing! Im sure someone will benefit.
A DX61 is made by Spektrum and is 6 channels (4 channels are used for main
plane functions + 1 for landing gear etc). The Futaba 6EX is a different
manufacture but the same channels. Note: which ever brand you chose you
will need a mtching brand receiver ie 4 channel 6 ch etc but by the same
manudacture and same frequency range ie 2.4GHz or older 35,16 or 72 Mhz
depending on your coumntry. A 4 ch radio is the min for a plane usually but
6 +ch's works for more functions later on.
@nicklokey916 I have a DX6I with servos and I gotta tell you that it works
perfectly! can hold up to 10 models (Yak-54, Blade, Extra, etc. either way
more than enough room to hold your planes/helicopters) 2 types of aircraft,
heli/plane/jet, 2.4 GHz DSM Spread Spectrum Technology, so when you're at
the flying field you don't need a clip just go fly! In the end I highly
recommend this reomote control! I use it and it's really worth the money
($300-$600, 600 if you want servos)
Not really impressed. You might learn to set your elevator dual rates and
or increase the dead zone of the elevator servo if your fingers are that
unsteady. Any good radio has those features built in. You looked like a
boat on choppy water as you came in. Mix in some throttle too. A click or
two in and out can make a lot of difference. 20 years RC talking here, you
look ok in the air but like 90% of RC pilots you've never taken time to
learn how to get back on the ground.
@alishanmao I have a video posted, You tube won't let me add the link here
but it ought to be under my name. And the guy IS doing a good thing, I'm
not bashing him. It's just that most RC people can't land a plane. They
would rather fly and do stunts than do mundain things like practice
landing. My point is this: landings are what save plans from coming home in
pieces, learning how is just smart. Think about it, if you can land smooth
it means your technique is smooth.
@maverick28110 I only have one video of me landing an RC plane. it has
three landings in it all made in the same flight. They are not as perfect
as my realflight landings but VERY close. The problem is that landing is
usually uninteresting. They SHOULD be good enough to prove my ability
though since they we all made in a 30 mile an hour wind at the begining of
a rain storm. You can see rain on the lense and hear the wind, will that
show my ability well enough?
@gcdesroches This video is a tutorial for beginner, and a lot of beginner
use little 4 channels radio with no possibility to mix anything so they
must learn to be very smooth with sticks and that's what alishanmao said in
his video, so it's a very good tutorial ! Post a good landing video (in
real life !) where we can see that it's you piloting, and show us your "20
years RC" and then we will see if they can talk for you or if you should
shut up, ok ?
hi there, im just looking for some advice. i fly an 8lb weight float plane
at my local lake and when im bringing it into land and reduce my throttle
to idle my plane still stays very level at low speed. am i right in saying
that my plane nose should drop slightly when im at idle speed? should i try
moving my battery a bit more forward to get a nose down attitude when im at
idle? kind regards
Great video. I thought that I could learn on the fly and just awesome at
flying planes. Boy was I WRONG! ;) The plane was just a foam plane and only
suffered a broken prop. Thanks for this video and also your other using the
simulator. Keep them coming, I need all the help I can get.
@Tilan123 thanks mate. i have the T6EXP, how is yours different to mine
btw? Also, i did mine on mode 3 because i could use the right one as a
throttle (it doesnt jerk back itself) is it possible to adjust it so the
right doesnt deflect back on its own?
@petritwow Depends on the plane.. Fiberglassed planes cost A LOT more than
the ones constructed with balsa and plywood. Mine was about 800 bucks (made
of balsa), it's about the same size but it's an extra. So this obviously
isn't a cheap hobby :)
@maciejbugno Take this advice... shut the fuck up. I bet you don't even own
an aerobatic plane like that yourself to make a better demonstration than
this? This guy is more skilled than you'll probably ever be. BTW, your caps
lock is broken.
Alishanmao i can not get my throttle cut button set properly, i messed
around with the servo, the push rod, and the carb, but when i press the
throttle cut it does not shut my plane off...and tricks man really want
that to work for safety
I have just ordered my very first plane online from Hobby Zone and hope to
be flying soon. That sure looked like a very smooth landing to me but as I
said I am a beginner, I just hope to be able to land as well. Thanks for
the video!
I've tried pinch and thumbs for flying. Pinch is terrible, it has no
feeling for me, yet thumbs i can use perfectly, it does not dull precision
in the slightest either. It's all about the person in control. Everybody is
different.
Tnx for hints & tips, I am a beginner too. Today I'm gonna have landing
training, so this vid was really helpful to me d:) Have cam attached to it,
so if the quality is ok, I'll add it here (haven't tried the cam yet)....
@alishanmao No need to get defensive Ali, just do your thing and let people
bash. Im sure you have helped a lot of people decide on what to buy and how
to fly. Keep up the good work bro, and just enjoy the flight! ;-)

I NEED HELP:
In 4 weeks I'm going to buy a pc. I can either go with fx 6300 and gtx 970
or Intel core i5 4690k and a gtx 960 (4gb version). What should I choose?!?
And will a 600w psu do fine for this?

*when crapping - really? There's no way I can do any turns when doing that.
I know this was a very long time ago, but still... if you bother to upload
a video, might as-well take your time to check the text
If the elevator mixed with the flaps, its normaly called snapflaps, and if flaps mixed with elevator its called elevator compensation.Specialy up flaps with Down elevator give much better inverted flying on a glider.
I've seen so many bad landings on YouTube and so few videos talking about how to land I thought I'd put this one together real quick. I hope this helps. :) Yes.
Good suggestion. It's been raining so much this season that I haven't had
much of a chance to fly at all, but I'll give this a try and post the
result. Also, I'll go to a bigger field. I didn't have a lot of space to
maneuver which is why it seems a little crazy.
