How to upgrade zbrush Videos

I love ZBrush and i love that from a conceptual point box modeling is taking on a sculpting work flow.It really is fast to get interesting results and just experiment with ideas, its fun.I was excited for the Keyshot bridge but it sounds like my pc is going to take off and fly away using it.I like that Keyshot offers an alternative to using cuda cores but as somebody looking for a real time render feed, Octane wins hands down every time.Its fast and quiet, doesn't blender my system.

You can use a bootable USB from either the keyboard dock or OTG cable.

+Sean Marrinan Yes, but it might not be as easy for some to open, i've opened a few tablets in my day. The new SSD was blank so had to be formated and then you need Windows install media ready to set up the new drive. Since I have an external M.2 enclosure I had mine already formatted to NTFS just to help.

are you sure :) its not even english. if you wanna know more about new functions ,go to install folder of zbrush ,open documentation folder there is list of all new feature it could takes couple hours to go through them all

+Mark Kempton Ⓥ Hey crack smoke. I've been designing for over 7 years on Macs at work. I have had 4 workstations die, and my new Macbook Pro stopped working after a week. They crash all the time. Certainly more than my Surface Pro, My gaming laptop or the tower I built. I know OSX and Windows equally. Honestly I hate all computers, but to say Macs are more stable is nuts. They all have their problems. I'd take a good PC over a Mac any day. I actually like the design of Macs better, but that is about it. Now we have Win 8/10. That is 10 finger touch and is awesome on the Surface Pro 3. Apples answer is the iPad Pro which is a freaking joke. Apple is going the way of the dinosaur my friend.

In this video, there is a section labeled "Concept Sculpting". They import two images, then map them onto a cube. Easy enough. Then the sculpt in the rough shape of the head out of a ZSphere, I can do that too. But then (I think) they Brush on a mask FROM THE PICTURES!! How in the world did they do that???

my good man i hope youre joking. but if thats truly your opinion then remember any digital application defies the skill of a "true artist". that would be working with your hands and given irl material :) people still can tell if somebody has the skills or just relies on the tools ;)

stop comparing 3dmax type programs with zbrush , zbrush is for sculpting and its the best offcourse ,im using it allso ;its verry good for normal maping and stufs; 3dmax is for the rest : low poly, rigg,animation,arhitectural ,cars ,etc the best way is to use em togeter

I have the 30 day demo, but plan to buy it. I've been using this video show friends and coworkers what is possible with ZBrush. The only thing...I don't plan to make gruesome creatures that most people use this for. Mine will all be funny.

ah true... i already use zbrush 2 to export things and rig them in poser... but still, this new target morphing thing (transpose) makes zbrush 3 do most of what poser does anyway... at least thats what it looks like. I CANT WAIT! xD

Ha, Ozzzd, Zbrush is a modelling suite though, while Maya is a full animation package. While you can render pseudo-3d shots in ZB, if you want to use the stuff in animation it'll have to be exported and used in Max/Maya/X/whatever.

I would dare to say that Pixologic is comparable to Kai tools. Does anyone remembers Kai's tools from a few years back? They where intended to bring Art and Fun together. I only hope Pixologic succeeds and improves.

Being both a traditional sculptor and someone that has worked in 3D I always thought it was the other way around, Max being the cheat and ZBrush requiring the hard work and know how of real sculpting.

Now I want to be able to create realistic environments as well, some particles render, and a great animation tool. Then it'll be number one in the business.
