I accidentally caught a glimpse of the Coma Ecliptic leg 3 setlist and it's
fucking amazing from what I saw. Well, I only remember 3 songs I saw, but
one of them is Sun of Nothing, so there's that.
+TheFissnoc Nah it's fine. I already knew a couple of songs they were playing (again by accident). The only setlist I don't know is for Native construct but they only have 7 songs so I can make a good guess as to what they'd play.
+TheFissnoc It's kind of hard not to read it when I scroll through my e-mail and see that, and judging by what they've played each show the past couple of tours, it probably will be the same.

Is this the setlist you are talking about?
May be the mix. Recording on a device usually removes some bass and allows mids and highs to cut through more. I dunno. Maybe he swapped it out for something else that day.
I hate thinking about the day BTBAM play their last show, but when that day
comes, I think the last song they'll play will be Selkies. That outro just
has that sad feeling of finality.
+windexfighter77 I don't think they will ever play a last show knowing it's the last show. I think one of them would have to die for them to call it quits.
That's not a bad thing thou lol, they are amazing live
Between the Buried and Me - "The Coma Machine" (Live in San Diego 7-22-15)
Between the Buried and Me performing The Coma Machine live from the Coma Ecliptic Tour at the Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA on July 22, 2015.
Man, this whole song is great, but the first time i heard it......that
ending after the last time he says "what once was" had me in tears. And I
was at work at the time. Im glad nobody saw me haha
Band rules, but hate watching them live, it's so much more boring than back
in the day. I remember seeing them with Suffokate and they actually moved
around and head banged. Now they just do that cliche "make love faces"
while playing riffs. Too bad.
Well, either there is a law about what metal should be like or you made this shit up, i belive that the second answer is the right one. If you want "real" metal, then go listen to something else and stop beliving that you're the center of the universe and everything should suit your taste.
Love your videos! I was front row and got all of the bands sets from my
phone, they all did a killer job.
I recently started a channel for full sets. If you don't mind me asking,
how did you initially get subs and build your fanbase?
+Nate C. Thanks, man! I just constantly posted footage from shows, tagged them accordingly, and management/the bands would often help by sharing on their social media. I haven't uploaded as often lately because I've had a few major life changes I have been adjusting to (new job/new city).
So the keyboardist doesn't really do too much playing during Exoplanet,
huh? Probably just pretending to twist nobs and press keys. Probably not
though.
+robinrules80 I did not do so unintentionally. There was a small 2-3 second cut in the video where someone bumped my camera hard which caused it to restart its recording.

+darkkane6969 haha yeah. I havent seen the other 2 bands yet either. The only other tour Im bummed to miss thats coming to Mass is Northlane, but then again I saw part of their set a few months ago with August Burns Red. Just cant wait for their new album to come out and hopefully theyll come back.
I saw AAL and Chon with Conquering Dystopia at the palladium on that tour. It was incredible. Also saw AAL with Devin Townsend at the palladium. Good times. Not fair this isn't headed that way.
+darkkane6969 Im from Mass, still sort of live there, but Im not in the states now. but I feel your pain. Thankfully I saw AAL with Chon last year, and theyre my favorite band out of these 3.

BTBAM's Dan Briggs On "Coma Ecliptic", Songwriting, Musical Direction & Tours (2015)
Gearing up for the new album and US tour, Metal Wani's Editor In Chief Owais 'Vitek' Nabi had a chat with bassist Dan Briggs. He discusses new album "Coma ...
Going prog-rock is what every progressive metal-band does, so predictable
and boring. Being progressive means doing something new, not just doing
something called progressive. Lame choice guys, getting more simple and
more rock, eh, do something new!
+Nathan Patrick I'm going to go on record and tell you, Nathan....I don't think you really know what progressive rock really is. Simple? Predictable? Really?
+Nathan Patrick Sorry for the thumbs down but this is new for them, this album is more cohesive it just flows and you don't even know till the third listen. Native construct gives BTBAM a run for there money, Cant wait to see both of them with enslaved in nyc soon!
