Ante todo gracias por el video, esta muy bueno pero ahora salio la version 1.8 que no se si es igual que la 1.7 de tu video, este tiene un zip dentro de los achivos ya descargados del folder 1.8 y cuando los descargo pregunta si los quieres remplasar y ahy estoy trabado, Crees que puedas actualizarlo desde cero?. Por mi parte tienes todos los likes de tus videos, son muy buenos

Oye Talibas y para el GPS Garmin tambien es lo mismo, yo tengo un DNX5160 Y EL GPS me dice q lo actualize pero que primero tengo q actualizar el software del stereo y despues el del GPS. Y muchas gracias por el video

Saludos es que yo tengo ese musmo radio y descargue el updste 1.8.0 y no se si es mi equipo pero no me reconoce el archivo del update y ya lo eh descargado varias veces como me podria ayudar... muchas gracias

Hey Dude need some advice i been studying these head units for about 2 months now always switching back and fourth to which one i want to get.. i want a unit with good sound quality, great navigation and iphone intergration i was close to going with alphine unit but from reviews im hearing its abit slow and the navigation is useless..with garmin this unit seems good for me what would you suggest? i like the custom colours and backround aswell on this unit..what would you say is the best overall?

Nice video dude, i just want to give some news : i have the DNX5190 and since the iOS 6.x came up, it completely lost the Bluetooth compatibility. Even with thr last update 08.11.2012) :( i really hope Kenwood is coming up with th a Bluetooth firmware update real soon. The symptoms : it says connected, then disconnected, all the time

for custom colors and backgrounds, its great! a little slow, too many options and menus. alpine is a bit more straight forward with less bells and whistles. what kind of car is it for?

i would really look into the alpine inew927hd, very oem look and feel. metra might also make the interface to keep you steering wheel controls working.

wouldnt any unit work with the axxess metra or pacs steering intergrationg adaptor kit? and clarion seems to have the worst gps of all the units.

you can either play bia bluetooth audio, or a 30 pin usb cable with the lightning adapter from apple.

Do you have any idea if the "Blank Map Screen" is related to the mapping upgrade? I don't wanna spend 75 on something that won't fix my problem. It shows the compass, time, vehicle speed, just not the maps. Thanks.

I used a CD-R, and got the update from the Garmin website but make sure to check your software version on your system for compatibility with the download. We used BVanSittert56 instructions and everything worked perfect, like he said open the files and burn only the RUF file (k08v5_update_78dfd438_3.2.0.r­uf) to the CD, your system will not open the file if it's in a folder, you must burn the actual file to the CD alone. I have the same "disc error" as the other guy who commented. I downloaded the zip file, extracted it, burn it into the CD, root directory. The name of the extracted file is "k08v5_update_78dfd438_3.2.0.ruf" . After putting the CD in, the player indicateds "reading" but after a minute or 2, it gave me a "disc error". I could not read the file... don't know why.

OMG EVERY TIME I TRY TO OPEN THE FILE IT WONT OPEN IT ASKES ME WHAT SOFTWARE OR PROGRAM I WANT TO OPEN IT WITH!!! UGH HOW DO I UNZIP OR DECOMPRESS THE UPDATED FILE TO THE ROOT? I PUT THE DIISK IN IT SAYS DISC ERROR? HELP!!!

sorry it took so long for a response - chances are you didn't unzip or decompress the update file. the .ruf file must be burned to the root of the CD, no subfolders or anything

hey i downloaed the disc, put it in and gave me a disc error using a music disc bout to try a dvd disc, can u give a link where u got ur update?

You need to use a CD-R disc....only.... Not a DVD disc. I had the same issue, but this worked.
