It is not necessary. You can use the api key on as much websites as you want. If I want to use ut on another website you can grab the api key from the website where you first set it up.

+The Funny to die Yes I can, Akismet is a plugin from the makers of Wordpress that store all the comments the get trhough every Wordpress website that is made. They are stored on a server and through a algorithm they can see if a comment is spam or not. In that way they can block all the spam from your website.

Log into yourdomain. com/ wp-admin (take out the extra spaces that I had to put in because YouTube thinks it is a link and they don't allow links in comments). Then do the above. BTW, this assumes you are using WordPress as your website platform and not just an html site or something like GoDaddy Tonight. Those don't use plugins like WordPress does.

Perhaps you are not an Admin user. If you are an Editor, Contributor, Subscriber, etc. you will not see your plugin panel. If that is the case, you will need to talk to your webmaster.

If you are an admin, you'll see plugins on the left side of your dashboard. Click it and choose Add new and then you can search for a new plugin or upload one from your hard drive.

Go to Users, choose your name and then scroll down until you see "Role". Use the dropdown menu to choose the level you want the person or yourself to be.
