The dangers of prescription drugs are mostly well-known, but most people believe that their over the counter medications are safe to take. That's normally the ...
Acetaminophen is an ineffective pain reliever that is toxic to the liver
and easy to overdose on while being non addictive. Opiates are a better
pain reliever, less toxic to the liver, however highly addictive. I wonder
what the rational was in combining the two. There is still more to this
story, dig deeper.
+Elizabeth Claiborne It is the DEA that has most opiates at a schedule 2 classification. By their own admission they have known as earlier as 2011 the likely outcome of abuse of opiates laced with acetaminophen. Knowingly poisoning a segment of society based on genetic predisposition should be criminal. Also, the Rat Park experiment highlighted fairly well that environmental factors play a large roll in the expression of the predisposition. Meaning abuse arises sharply in times of stress. It's is the current governmental policy that is based on outdated 1970's experiments that failed to account of environmental factors.
+Greg Wills Opiates are only addictive in people who are inclined to get addictive. A bit of physical dependence can happen, so you just taper the dose down to get off. The big problem with opiates is the DEA harassing doctors for writing them.
Just another excuse to grow government and implement more socialism. Since
liberals believe Americans can't be responsible enough to administer a
proper dose of Tylenol, they need the government to hold their hand and do
it for them, like a baby. Give me a break. The answer to 1984 is 1776, and
soon the gun grabbers won't even allow that to be possible as the American
sheep are blindly led to the slaughterhouse.
+Comrade Obama you can certainly trust people to do the right thing for the most part. what you cant trust. is a corporation, whose sole purpose is profit for share holders,to tell the truth about the dangers of their products. or fox news like bumper sticker slogans they are a sure sign of simple mindedness.
+MrIzzyDizzy Excuse me my friend, do you have a moment? I'd like to talk to you about . . . diarrhea.
