Heston cooking rice Videos

I have this machine, and made Risotto - very good. He is correct that to make a risotto is constant stirring at the hob to the very last ladle of liquid. with the Risotto Multicook, once I had stirred the ingredients together I was able to leave it until it was done, which meant I could look after my guests instead of stirring. I have used it also on Rice setting for plain white or brown rice and also the slow cooker setting. Last night I made sausage casserole and used Slow Cook - high - and it was done in the same time as if in the oven - and only that one pot to wash as I fried off the onions and browned the sausages first using the Sear button. Not a cheap machine, but I don't now have to have my rice cooker and slow cooker cluttering up the work surfaces so its replaced them and added the risotto function too. to @Sendrien - no I doubt Heston would use that machine in his commercial kitchen as its for domestic use only. @Riccardo Cacchioli - actually he hasn't given any false info as far as I could tell.

Hi Jenni, I've just checked the recipe for Betty Crockers Herbed roast beef and this will be perfectly cooked on the slow cooker function, sounds yum! Do let us know how you get on. Kind regards.
