Taurus not starting

I've cleaned the battery posts, though I don't really hear a spark when I put the wires back on like I used to...possible corroded cables? Possible busted starter ...

I'm having this problem now. It doesn't start. try a few times and after several minutes (sometimes 15-20!) it starts. It's the starter. I might try to replace it myself as it looks fairly easy to do.
