So are the 10-20 sets in the strength phase highly specific to the competition lift? Or can they vary like they do in the hypertrophy phase?

That's what I figured. Thank you for the quick reply.

Still based on directed work towards each lift but yes as a whole the work in strength is more specific than in hypertrophy.

this is referring to the Juggernaut Method...correct Chad? I'm an idiot.

Thanks Chad, I've not got that far yet; however, I am doing Dr. Mike's Nutrition on RPS.  I appreciate it!

The programming has evolved from when I wrote that. You'll learn the most about this in A Thoughtful Pursuit of Strength and Scientific Principles of Strength Training.

Chad,Great stuff! Is there a plan to have the book in print form? Kind of "old School" that way. Thanks!

+Brian Kelso Thanks. Sorry, it isn't. Best bet is just taking the PDF to Kinkos.

i havent been keeping up with this channel like i should be...does chad use a split or full body workouts? wouldnt full body workouts make the 15-30 sets per week more easily attainable? what are your views on full body workouts vs a split?
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3EE3CtLKVbo/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAADak/UbwKRgsOF5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Juggernaut Training Systems well, question answered. thank u for the reply.

+Mikey Koza Mark Bell doesn't do a Westside split anymore and didn't to make his 578 Bench PR...because I write his program. I have people include bench and squat or deadlift training in the same session on occasion, mostly more beginner athletes and females who need higher weekly frequency on the lifts to reach their MRV and who have shorter SRA curves because they aren't able to induce as much fatigue with a single session
https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-3EE3CtLKVbo/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAADak/UbwKRgsOF5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+kadijaish not according to some. Mark Bell uses a Westside type split, Mike Tuscherer uses a full body program.

+Mikey Koza you can not ask a powerlifter what are your views on full body workouts vs a split. Answer is obvious

Great explanation of what smart previews are, but how do I give my old photos smart previews? I see that I can do it on import, but what about my old photos already in there?
