How can i send my uss kelvin to get repaired? the plastic bottom of the
saucer section is very loose & part of it is comming out. it was like that
when i bought it.

I love the Kelvin!! This model and magazine look gorgeous.
I do like the Enterprise design from the JJ Abrams movies but I have a
feeling the Enterprise gets blown up in Star Trek Beyond so perhaps a new
enterprise more in keeping with the original will be born out of its hot
rod predecessor!

the Kelvin was named after a historical figure like ALL federation ships or
places on earth for example the Uss Pasteur was named for Luis Pasteur the
man who invented penicillin

+Brian Lindee It was named after both Lord Kelvin and JJ's grandfather, the registry is JJ's grandfather's birthday 14th May (05/14 in the US).

+SFB Addict The american version was stupid because they butchered the story. The original Japanese version made more sense. In any case the first Godphoenix is still a cool ship!

+Kuldip Binning yeah hulk looks great. really well done on him on the paint. though the mount is slanted because of that back foot. When they sculpted him it probably looked right but mounted hes a little lopsided. still looks cool though.

+Kuldip Binning I was happy about the sculpt on many of the pieces expect for a couple that seemed bulky or sculpted for the bases wrong. the hulk piece needs its rear leg extended just a bit so he doesn't look slanted as he is on the base. and archangel while cool is really just too wide for the space. my biggest issue was some of the paint jobs looked rushed and crappy while others looked really well done. since its by hand the painter probably wanted to get it done quickly. I don't buy from them anymore because I got full set which is what I wanted. they have other cool statues but I just wanted the chess.

+Brett Cost You can get lots of stuff in the US and half price what it costs here in the UK, I was in Chicago an the comic stores had every thing along with the chess sets, about the same price as here. I have never had many problems, if there is something a bit off eaglemoss always go out of their way to resolve it. Not even when I order from the US as I recently got the SDCC Thanos set, the one with the Galactus box, fantastic condition even after shipping an taxes Amazon were great. I am a bit disappointed with this chess set, the sculpting is not as good as the Marvel lead collection. Just finished wating episode 2 of season 2 Gotham, great show.

yeah that was really lucky. theyre still having issues. the us office only handles full sets while the UK office handles separate pieces. I did order the white queen from them and never got it though I paid. but I got so much free stuff I let it go. I also don't buy from them anymore. too many issues. my suggestion is to just get the whole set if one can. Still a great chess set.
