I'm mostly on the cops side on this one. Saying that he had been about to punch him in the face in what seems to be in a self-deprecating manner I doubt is a threat - questionably at best, IMO. Was it a dumb thing to say? I think so. It was dumber for Mr. Lihosit to start squaring off at the officer and being confrontational. I think the 2nd officer handled the situation very well - taser, cuffs and all. The first officer ought to have his wrist slapped. Was Mr. Lihosit guilty of harrassing his wife in accordance with the court order? If so, he ended up getting off easy.

It was very clear the officers lied, and you condone this shit? Wow dumb ass

+N Nip So...nothing about the cops lying on the film, falsifying the police report and then lying again when questioned about it? This deserves just a slap on the wrist? I also never saw Mr. Lihost become confrontational or square off on either of them. He did everything they asked him to do. When asked to put down his cigarette, he did. When asked to put down his coffee, he did. When asked to get on his knees, he did. Never once did he resist any of their orders. The cops were completely wrong and hopefully both will be disciplined and it will be more than a slap on the wrist. They threatened physical force when it was not justified. If You or I would have done this it could be a crime...I don't think they should get a pass. At the very least they owe Mr. Lihost an apology. And as far as his "crime" give me a break, the wife lured him into that by texting him, then calling the police when he texted her back. I also don't see the big difference between an email (which he was allowed to send) and a text (which he was not allowed to send) very pety and not worthy of his treatment...

+N Nip I hate to admit to mistakes but why did the second officer hastily clarify to the other officer that Lihosit was just reading? Answer: as the 1st officer subsequently remarks, he was about to punch him in the face! So now you know why I (and the 1st officer) are not lawyers or brain surgeons!

Increase gun crime prison time. 10 years in prison for even possessing a firearm. 20 years for using a gun in a crime. Gun crime will drop fast once the criminals learn they would get serious prison time for using a gun.

He literally looks like he's gonna cry any second. And everything he mentions not doing, he did. I'm sorry to say, but he was just washed up after he turned into an adult. He was a good looking and charming kid, but that didn't follow him into adulthood. Like many child stars who were spoiled by the world early in lives, he couldn't handle it being taken away and watching himself become ordinary. It made him a mental midget who killed himself. RIP

+curiouscreature99 Really I think you're a mental midget
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
Many people overcome addiction. He didn't because he was a mental midget.

I enjoy people who run their mouths with no knowledge.  Being an addict at 15, is not something that gets solved without help.  Help he never got from anyone.  Sorry, but that's reality.  If grown ass adults can't get clean on their own without a solid support structure to be successful, a child isn't going to make it alone. Period. Done.  However, I do find your ignorance amusing.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
That's his fault. We can't hold people accountable for their actions and throw pity parties for others based on whom we like more. Once he became a star, he inherently had people around him trying to help him and the support necessary to avoid going down the path he did. Becoming an addict was his own choosing when he felt invincible.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2q7dVuzp7P0/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADY/lqC9vIztPz8/photo.jpg?sz=64
He ended up over weight because of the drugs.  Clearly you've never known an addict before.  It ages you.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
I don't mean to be disparaging towards him, but he didn't get more roles cause he grew up to be chubby and awkward looking, which is the opposite of what he was during his childhood. Nothing about him was good for the screen anymore, at least not in the way he used to be.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2q7dVuzp7P0/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADY/lqC9vIztPz8/photo.jpg?sz=64
+curiouscreature99 He didn't kill himself, he OD'd, and it was accidental. Before he became an actor, he already had issues. His parents got divorced, his dad disappeared, and his mom just dumped him at his grand mothers house. At 12 he was already drinking and smoking. Allowing him to star in a movie when he was already headed down a troubled path was totally irresponsible. When he was 15, just 3 years after The Client, he was arrested with 2 bags of cocaine and a bag of weed, still nothing. In 2001 the director for Bully showed up at his grand mothers house to pick him up for filming, and he walked out the door with track marks so bad blood was running down both his arms. Because funding of the film was contingent on Brad starring in the film he bided his time for a few days while watching him shoot up over and over, then tricked him into his car, and drove him to Florida from Tennessee for filming, allowing him to detox on the way. Brad had a seizure while they were driving. He didn't stop for medical attention (you can look this story up online, he has openly admitted it). This is an exemplary failure by the adults in his life to protect him. If even one of the adults in his life had bothered, this story might have had a very different ending. Regardless, he was EXTREMELY talented, and the only reason he wasn't successful as an adult was because he was too high risk. The only mental midget I see here, is you.
