+Jadelin Romain yea next time ask. They bring out a menu entirely in Chinese sometimes and they translate for you usually. I've had some extremely tasty truly Chinese dishes at many different Chinese establishments

+Eric Weirath I've never thought to ask for a secret menu. I've seen employees eating and their food didn't look the same as what they prepare for customers. Their food looked healthier lol

+p3ps1FTW i sometimes judge a Chinese restaurant if there are other Chinese families eating there. If not its probably mainly catered to Americanized Chinese. I always check if there's a secret menu. That's where the good stuff is. Orange chicken is a horrible loopy mess of an entree certainly not authentic

Absolutely, and I give Jack, his family, and friends a lot of credit for not limiting themselves to only American fare or fast food. One the plus side, the portions looked generous and the meat to veg/rice/noodle ratio was decent. The curry was on the watery side though, it should be more of a sauce not soupy. Yes, the Pad Thai should not be swimming in sauce. Maybe they're catering to what they think customers want which is a lot of sauce I guess...

+Jadelin Romain  +1 from SoCal about the Pad Thai, not a judgment of the rest of the food.I love Jack's channels/family/guest families/enthusiasm, but I do have to agree with you about the overly sloppy Pad Thai. This dish is better with noodles coated in sauce, rather than swimming in it. Plus, I like to see a lot of fresh and crisp bean sprouts. Lots of Thai places seem to be stingy or virtually missing the bean sprouts.

+Jadelin Romain yes and you can tell by Mexican - salsa, Chinese - orange chicken, Italian - pasta sauce, Middle East - Hummus. that's how I can tell if places are good.
