@Somborac420 This is a direct quote from the CBC news website: "Possible tornadoes have been reported in Ontario as a line of severe storms swept eastward. Environment Canada said there were unconfirmed reports of possible tornadoes in the community of Fergus and the Township of Blandford-Blenheim, southwest of Kitchener." These reports were also mentioned in the severe thunderstorm warnings yesterday on the Environment Canada website, and they also stated that isolated tornadoes were possible.

Barrie 1985, Edmonton 1987, Elie Manitoba, 2007 Tornadoes have been a part of our weather pattern 4 a long time! Ontario averages 11 tornadoes a year let alone the rest of Canada!

Canada gets between 80 to 100 tornadoes per years. That's a fact. Ontario has an average of 12 tornadoes per year. So seeing twisters in Ontario is not uncommon. What is rare, is to see 18 tornadoes in one day like August 20 2009. An outbreak of this magnitude was the largest in Canada.

I live in Collingwood, VERY close to where the tornadoes touched down. We got a SHIT-load of rain, lightening, thunder & hail. Earth's magnetic poles are shifting, reason we've been having such erratic weather patterns.

Heard about it; not common for Tornados there. Several touched down in that in that one line of storm cells, said emptywitness. The air masses are becoming more intense bringing pattern change and more intense storms.

Clarksburg, ON. That is the Niagara Escarpment and the damage was amazing. Down on highway 26, some roof tops were torn off and trees cut in half. It was amazing to see.

There's nothing erratic about the weather. Tornadoes are a normal part of summer. Whoever blamed this on shifting magnetic poles needs to stop smoking the funny stuff.
