The very nature of what they are doing, is called "claiming equality by association" or Ambush Marketing is the technical term. Look it up on Wikipedia. Its got nothing to do with hate or conspiracy. Search for Cadillac CTS-V vs Ferrari 458 and see them claiming equality to the best sportscar in the world. There is nothing repsectful or realistic about it. No shame. Just FULL of hostility, wild claims and what I refered to as Ambush Marketing (also has its own Wikipedia article) Cadillac are fairly open about buying BMWs and using them as targets for their next models but they are also saying they have to stop making cars that way. So far as I know they've only explicitly mentioned BMW in antagonistic fashion with the new ATS. So? That's the target, everyone knows it. (There was a CTS-V commercial that mentioned BMW and Mercedes but did so respectfully. And that was a better Nurburgring lap time not just a straight line, a legitimate achievement with far more development than dropping in a Corvette motor.) Cadillac is focused on a couple of products and puts the money, manhours, and materials there, to great effect.

This 'consolidation' of platforms is going to result in killing off the last Australian cars, thanks very much GM global platforms. The last Holden Commodore, once rebadged as Pontiac G8 and now again as the Chevrolet SS, will be built in 2017, then the plant in Australia betooled for boring global platforms. When Corvette ZR1 adopted carbon fiber brakes, they did point out to the press that they came from the Enzo. But no rational person would use that fact to claim Ferrari was using GM technology. Nobody jumps to the conclusion that the ZR1 is exactly like a Ferrari, either. Do you realize how raving you sound?

Caddy delaying an ATS Coupe, wagon, or Convertible. As a serious global luxury brand, anything but rescheduling product is a bad move. To compete, you have to at least do most of what the competition is doing at least as well to tie and better to win. The CTS Coupe came a bit after the current CTS. I think the CTS Wagon is/would be stronger in Europe than the US. Also Diesel! Going Global means US sells isn't the only factor and so justifying more and varied product.

For a GM executive to say the company doesn't know how it will execute its plan to roll out variants of the ATS at this point in time clearly suggests that while the variants may have been planned, and even designed and ready for production, the decision as to when it will launch those variants is still up in the air. We said the ATS coupe is on hold. Nothing David Caldwell has said contravenes that statement.

umm, the ATS "news" is not true, (as per GM/Cadillac Div. itself!) as is the 2.8 sec 0-60 time of the porsche turbo, also not true :D other than claims i never saw that anywhere in the real world , someone has yet to prove it. anyways. cheers from germany.

By far the show that looks too forced and unnatural. The music is so generic, reminding me of a fake news show especially with the green screen in the background. All the others shows are very good though.

@edwardploh Some of us do know how "hard" this is, and still expected something better from a name (and backing) like Motor Trend. Jessi was good on Roadfly, but here - meh.
