Just curious how well you like the FlatTop? I have ZERO respect for Dell Schanze BUT... although I hate to say it... his product looks pretty good. Do you agree? Any comments or opinions on the unit itself? Thanks.

+eddy802 If you have an iMac, you can connect the phone to the comp using your lightning cable. Then on quicktime you can create a new recording from your device (iPhone) then play back the flight in FlySkyHi and hit record on Quick time.

That strobe light looks familiar. If I'm correct the lense snaps into place. I had one of those on a solo 210 unit and the lense popped off from vibration and went through the prop. IMHO anyone using this strobe should twist some safety wire around the lense and base to make it secure.

did you make or buy that aluminum bracket the pulley is connected to? i really would like to make the pull start easier on mine. i can start it after i kill it in the air, but it's one hell of a stretch for my arm. lol

A skilled pilot with a large enough wing could probably pull it off. However, I can not recommend it. I think you would be disappointed with the power, since at that weight, more power would give you a safer reserve of power and a better climb rate. This Vittorazi would work well for pilots up to around 200 lbs at sea level. For you I would recommend something with closer to 25hp or more. Thanks for your interest.
