+Ramil Sayfutdinoff Да норм расход.У меня трасса  8-9. город 11 если как все. И  15 если быстрее всех.)))У нас адовая жара. Тоже 37. дней 10.Кстати, так как муфта у меня не выключается из-за жары, то если встать на грунтовой дороге и газануть, то из под машины такое количество пыли поднимается что можно использовать как дымовую завесу.))))

+Consiglioriмой движок за счет давления едет, разгон нормальный до 120 км/ч. после уже не интересно.зато экономичный, на дальние расстояния еду по круизу, выставляю 100-110 км/ч и норм, в Уфу (вчетвером) недавно ехал, 160 км - средний расход 6,6 л/100 км. обратно - 8,5 л/100 км. ехал днем при температуре 37 С, кондер молотил как сумасшедший!

+Consiglioriсейчас вроде только 1.8 ТСИ.сарай - что надо! есть еще Шкоды RS - быстрые и относительно недорогие, можно чипануть.Йети с 1,8 ТСИ можно чипануть на 400 л.с. и 400-500 Н м момента.

+Ramil SayfutdinoffА разбирать и не надо.Там главное сдлетаь аккуратную трепанацию (отверстие, можно сверлом.) У меня же был форс мажор. А у тебя все работает. Просто отверстие высверлил и забыл.Жаль что не 4х4. Я хотел в свое время Шкоду Скаут 4х4. больно хорошая комбинация - сарай, 4х4, клиренс, механика, двиг 2,0. без турбо. Одна надежность. Подобное у других брендов стоит диких денег А6 кваттро и вольво ХС70...))

+Consiglioriу меня 1,2 TSI, на 4х4 денег не хватало.сейчас не жалею, экономичный движок, по говнам не езжу, пару раз за зиму доставал лопату))на выходных посмотрю устройство замка, разбирать не буду - не хочу чинить то, что не сломалось)))

+Ramil SayfutdinoffОтличная машина.4х4?У тебя возможно по-другому.На Ауди А4 (вроде тот же пассат) но нет. Там открывается проще, лег под машину, палку сунул в замок - капот открыт. У меня же невозможно подлезть снизу.Как у тебя не знаю. Хотя, если замок такой же, то все одно.

+grin. kst Что-то типа того. Присмотрись. Там где шарик тросика, видно, как в противоположную сторону уходит еще трос. Это блокиратор капота механический.Ставили у кого бабки были в конце 90х начале 2000ых на эти Пассаты. Самая угоняемая машина в мире была.)) А сейчас я вообще не понимаю, как люди покупают новые машины, да еще в кредит и не ставят блокировки... Ппц. главное автозапуск им блеа! Дилетанты.))

Funny as my inspiration for doing the video was because I also was stuck at the side of the road 200 miles away from my house and had to wait 1 hr for RAC to turn up and and fix it In 10 seconds! Lol so glad it helped especially in that situation!!!

+S Miah im away at the moment so I can't have a look at my car but just thinking about it there must be a plunger some were that makes contact with the bonnet as you close it. Once the plunger is pushed down the circuit is cut and the light goes out. When you lift the bonnet it will pop back up and the light comes on.........that's my guess it could be a different method! But try having a look around probably near the edges or hinge for a little plunger type thing if you spot one have a look at the part of the bonnet that it makes contact with....it might be a little plate type thing that has bent or warm out!! Like I said I'm away for another week or so but when I get home I can take a look at mine for you!....let me know how you get on

open the door from the inside and down the side of the door that you couldnt reach if the door was shut is a rubber lining follow it down half way and you will see a circle pull the rubber out and there will be a allen key screw inside unscrew that and the keysocket will pull straight out then look from the outside of the car in where the keysocket was and you should see a arm with a cable attach to it pull on that and that is the part that the handle attaches to, to open the door.

I haven't had that problem. Have you tried taking off the outside door handle to see what is going on? These doors can normally operate with no handle. Just reach a finger or two inside the rectangular hole and push down on the tab that the latch normally activates.

I own a Golf mk5. There is a problem with the front passenger door as I cant open the door at all! Mechanic says that the lock is gone. I have purchased a lock but I cant open the door all to strip it down and replace the lock. Any idea how i can go about it? cheers

Parts aren't really hard to find in my area. I live within a 40 minute drive of: 2 VW dealerships, 1 garage that specializes in VWs, and 2 salvage yards.

Do you know what to do if the door can't be opened from the outside but can be from the inside? My cabriolet has this issue on the drivers side door.

Thanks for this video, it should be useful to me as the driver's door on my own VW just broke today in a similar way.

Smart. I really liked how you then how identified the problem then made really good repair.

It would definitely be worth a try. That is the route that I would go next.
