I'm impressed that he drove that well with only a standard lap belt. I don't know how many of you have any actual experience driving AutoX or track event without a full harness but keeping your body from sliding out of the seat takes away completely from being able to control the car.

Evos lost it after the evo8, and any eurpo or japanese racing driver will tel you that the best evo was the evo 6, these newer evos are complete garbage and the sales figures in europe and japan confirm that.

@g00sampson The stock Recaro seats hold you in pretty well. And I'm sure with his body mass, he fits snugly into the seat, lol. Kidding about the last part. They're much better than previous Evo seats.

@DrAgOnBoY63 it is in automatic mode, he doesnt use the paddle shifters. several times the car downshifts while the video shows the cabin, and he doesnt touch the shifters

I think his driving could of been better. A few spots he seemed slow and not on the race line. But video is hard to tell hiw hard the car is working.

@hobotechMASTER @ 1:01 the car upshifts and the right paddle is not used. Im not even sure after watching this video again though, hard to tell.

@Nitrousx its not on auto its on manual. he used auto clutch and you look behind the steering wheel. there is that gear changing thingy

could be faster! With the same setup and other driver, could be a improvement of 2 to 4 seconds.
