Hey guys, I'm debating... I don't really actually have the money for a GLI, but I might risk and let it play out lol! Anyways... For around the same price I could get a WRX not the STI of course but just the WRX.. What would be a better choice in your opinion... 210hp with nice interior or 280hp awd with mediocre interior?

+Hector Gonzalez i think this is a sense of preference i rather had a sleeper car than a flashy car the VW when it come to mind: it looks like a family sedan but drives like a sports carand the fuel economy for its performance is quite good the manual transmission is awesome though slightly longer throw than a sports car but still short nonetheless and the clutch pedal is so light which can help it long traffic jamsand there are a lot of mods for the type of engine , it is a same 2.0 tsi engine used in the mk7 golf gti that can squeeze another 120 more hp (in total 360hp +) with a stock intake and exhaust search oettinger as for the interior it is nice and trunk is spacious you could even sleep in it though not so comfortable with extra tire under the trunk compartmenti say go for a test drive on those two cars

Great review! I really like this car. What would you say are the advantages and disadvantages over the Honda civic Si 2015?
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PhflWjgEFds/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAADM/hJQdcUbaqSM/photo.jpg?sz=64
It's a Honda.

I got a credit score of 566! Can i be approved for a loan to buy that GLI?

Vw is pretty lenient with credit scores especially with the Vw scandal

2015 VW Jetta TDI Test Drive Review

The 2015 Jetta TDI not only gets a face lift but also new suspension, brakes, and a new TDI engine that produces more power yet uses less fuel.

You're in Virginia USA! Why are you talking metric?
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pPjCk1YrRQg/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAFg/sJ3sSLk1QCU/photo.jpg?sz=64
I'm Canadian and we use metric. I've been trying to remember to include US specs lately. Thanks

Better aerodynamics? All new interior? Both are not true. A different front end, yes. An updated interior to reflect the 2014 GLI's soft touch materials, yes. Also, the 1.8T engine comes with a regular 6 speed automatic transmission and not the DSG. 2014 rear drum brakes only came with the base model. Independent suspension only pertains to the rear. No offense, you seem like a nice guy, but if you are going to review cars for a living you have to get the facts straight.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+keithrig The new Golf actually has 1/2 inch less headroom, unfortunately. So I'll see how I do in the ones without sunroof otherwise this means the Golf, Jetta, Sportwagen, and Passat are out for me. Even the new Bettle's roof is now too low. This is a shame for taller people. I have owned previous generation VW's with no problems with headroom. I know VW is going for more aero dynamics and mpg's but that means people like me are out of luck. The only VW's that fit me now are the CC, Tiguan and the Touareg. I heard the next generation CC and Tiguan will be made in the USA so I'll bet VW does the same to those cars. I been a VW driver for 20 years, owned 6 of them, those days might be coming to an end.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Yippie The vehicles without a sunroof may give you more headroom.  The new gen Golf seemed to have plenty of headroom (even with the panaramic sunroof), seemed to have plenty and I am almost 6' 1".  The Jetta Mark VI was notorious for seemingly being cheaper than their predecessor, but the newer ones and the 2015 are improved.  This is likely to reduce costs to compete with the American and Japanese brands.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+TheOhknows Hey, I also owned a CC, 2011 with DSG. Great car but I'm 6'4 so the the sight line looking out was not good. I always had to duck to see stoplights. Anyways, before that I owned a Jetta and the German made Passat. The CC's DSG was set for economy which was a drag. That was the wrong move to do that in a car like the CC. I did average one time 37mpg, according to the computer, on a 45 minute highway ride though. Not bad.Anyways, VW does need to step up their game. Taking a look at the a 2011 Jetta I was appalled by how cheap they became. Then I test drove the new American made Passat. What a let down! Next to the German made one I owned it was clearly cheaply made. It didn't even cost less. My 2008 Passat with Komfort package was $28,000. For a 28,000 dollar 2014 Passat all you get is cheap plastics, bland materials and design, and 20 yes 20 cheaper things. I blogged about it one time venting my anger as well. The worst part for me is VW is making their roofs lower. I can't even buy a Passat or Jetta now because I have only 1/4 of an inch left before my head hits. Not good for safety. I had more headroom in my CC. The CC was a classy German made car for the price and I should have kept it.

Ya, yippie is right. The interior far from being all new. This tdi model in this video just looks like it has GLI interior parts. VW better start picking things up, they seem to be falling behind & I am a huge VW fan. Had the 1st CC r-line. it was the probably one of the 1st cc R line sold in the USA. Plus, I owned many other VW's and family all owned a VW. I really, was hoping to keep the CC, but couldn't stand how their was so much lag taking off @ times, DSG tranny is great on shifting gears, but the lag and cost for the tune up at a VW dealer was the forced me to move on. To me, automobile manufactures are setting the control system on cars to have that lag to increase gas mileage, but I'm not sure. I'm sure, I will never buy a car the feels that way again. Some might reply, get a manual. My response would be, I've been driving cars with manual box for over 30+ years, I live in so.cal( heavy traffic) and now I just want a car that is more comfortable to drive and still can feel fun to drive. Lastly, VW didn't market the v6 AWD CC model where it be competitive with other v6 AWD AUTO manufactures. Made to few and didn't or couldn't offer a good lease offer and pricing. Sry, I'm venting out my frustration on how feel towards VW. view about VW right now lol
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-pPjCk1YrRQg/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAFg/sJ3sSLk1QCU/photo.jpg?sz=64
No worries Yippie. Cheers

+Everyday Reviews Thanks for being cool about it. I hope I didn't come across as  a jerk. I can be a little too passionate when it comes to cars sometimes ;). Peace.

Hi Yippie, thanks for the observations. Yes, I agree . When I meant all new interior, I shouldn't have implies for all Jettas. I meant for the volume sellers. I was told by the VW rep that the front end is different, a new trunk and that there was work done under the car to make it more aerodynamic. I normally have more time with the cars but this time I only had about an hour this time, hence in my haste there was mis information and I may have not communicated my facts properly. Thanks for watching

Most fun to drive, a Volkswagen, you guys must be kidding, Most fun cars in order 1.Mazda, 2. Ford, 3. Volkswagen Most technologically advanced 1. Ford 2. Mazda 3. Volkswagen Most efficient 1. Mazda 2. Volkswagen 3. Ford Most powerful & best gearbox 1. Volkswagen 2. Mazda 3. Ford So dont always think VW/Toyota/Honda is the best ,why is it that Americans always forget American built marvels like the Ford Focus, take Ford Focus with manual tranny and its a gem, it has superb interior quality and it has much better steering and body control than a VW, sad to see that Americans dont trust American and wont appreciate American Ford has also hear customers biggest complaint the confusing interior buttons and they will be rolling the facelift by 2014 December, and it looks and feels a lot like/if not better than a VW but with a Ford badge Ford is really on a mission , to change the mistakes they have done to US for the past 10 years by not offering true European Fords in US and now they have done it, appreciate them as well
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-tjpiLvSdrTA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAJo/YdJfhpqYuMA/photo.jpg?sz=64
+jensen chase thats a subjective quote, true VW looks good but its more of a pedestrian looking car and focus looks more sassy and more sporty and wants to be different from the conventional 3 box design of almost all carsI cant tell that the Jetta is the only car that feels like a tank the Focus too feels built to last unlike Japanese tin cans, only thing going against it is interior space and that rubbish DCT
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
The focus is European. I love my Volkswagen and love driving it more than anything, it handles great and feels like a tank(in a good way). I do like the quality of the Focus' interior, but I like the Jetta's look a lot more.

The Passat has the largest back seat of all VW sedans. The roomiest VW in the US is the Passat and Golf Sportwagen. The roomiest new German car is the Mercedes S600 Pullman.

+stop asking me to change my name! At least china and Africa still doing business with vw. Lol. They have made a lot good sales world wide to survive. This was a sabotage anyway.

+Ato Nympha I believe there are two types of buyers: 1: Those who buy the car, and 2: Those who buy the deal.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-XdUIqdMkCWA/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAAA/4252rscbv5M/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Ato Nympha My buddy tried trading in his TDI and the Dealers laughed at him. Could not put a value on it. Wait until this scandal blows over. You can't even buy one now anyways,VW has stopped all new and used sales of them on their lots. Don't you watch the news ? VW is in a downward spiral.

+Diesel Review reasons why they pulled it off the market? I love golfs
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PfwddzW_Rgc/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACs/lChlor01qWM/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Ato Nympha New 2015 Golfs have been pulled off the market. Your only chance is used. I'd expect $24k-$26k for a Golf SE TDI new. Probably no less than $23k for used. There won't be desperate sellers, just lucky owners.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iguodLJG6lI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAuQ/roo4Os8r4bA/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Diesel Review let me go through all your videos. .I think I will pick the golf..what the price range and does golfs come with like loaded version?
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PfwddzW_Rgc/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACs/lChlor01qWM/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Ato Nympha My personal top pick is 2015 VW Golf SE TDI 6-Speed manual. The Jetta is bigger inside than the Golf, but the Golf is the best choice. The Jetta is almost a smaller version of the Passat. 2015 is the only year you should consider buying, and this is obviously a used market item. I'm more focused on new, but I did test and road trip 2015 TDI VW Golf and Jetta models, so check out all my videos.

+Diesel Review I really know that MB is exceptional, let drop down to vw only.so what about jetta vrs golf (diesel)
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PfwddzW_Rgc/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACs/lChlor01qWM/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Ato Nympha The Passat is a terrible car because of the lack of build quality, overuse of faux materials, and lack of performance. If ever a car was engineered to be a large, profitable rental car, the Passat wins. The TDI SEL reaches $32k msrp and it's unbearable on road trips. Sure, it's efficient, but it's not pleasant. I owned a 2013 model, purchased $800 under invoice in 12/2012. I traded it for a 2008 Mercedes E320 BlueTec three months and 7k miles later. The Mercedes was $26k and much more enjoyable, although maintenance was more costly on the Benz, the $8k difference between the new Passat and used MB pays for dealer maintenance on the MB.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-iguodLJG6lI/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAAuQ/roo4Os8r4bA/photo.jpg?sz=64
+Diesel Review why avoid passat please elaborate
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-PfwddzW_Rgc/AAAAAAAAAAI/AAAAAAAAACs/lChlor01qWM/photo.jpg?sz=64
Nope. SEL is DSG only. Avoid the Passat.
